A stunning new contemporary kitchen for a stunning location overlooking Portsmouth Harbour.
More than just a kitchen this project was for the whole living space. The customer tasked us with providing a kitchen a living room and occasional office in a large open plan space.
To achieve this we relocated the kitchen area from the middle of the room to the far end. This enabled us to place all the tall appliances and hob within a wall that we constructed to hide this part of the kitchen from the living room space, a small island was created with a Pop up plug socket to create the workstation separate from the food preparation areas of the kitchen. A further peninsular was added for the sink and kitchen workspace. The remainder of the room was used for a dining table and soft furnishings creating the living space required.
To keep the look minimal all radiators were removed and replaced with an under floor heating system under the new tiles.
