In-toto kitchens in Portsmouth invited locals to join them for a relaxing coffee break to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support's World's Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday, 24 September 2010..
The family-run team, headed by Angie Orme and Paul Giles, were inviting shoppers into their showroom for coffee, tea, freshly baked biscuits, cakes and sweets on Friday 24 September, from 10am to 3pm. Visitors were encouraged to make a small donation to enjoy the confectionery and freshly ground coffee made from the showroom's newly installed Neff coffee machine, including espresso, latte, macchiato and cappuccino.
"Coffee is such a mainstay of our social and working lives - never before have people been so particular about what coffee they make, drink and enjoy. To reflect the demand for "proper coffee" in the home and to demonstrate the theatre a coffee machine can add to the home, we wanted to celebrate the arrival of our latest Neff coffee machine while raising money for an incredibly worthy cause," said Paul.
Paul added: "It's a great way for the local community to unite and we're hoping to raise at least £500. We're looking forward to welcoming lots of new faces into the showroom on the day and seeing if we can achieve our goal!"
