Belinda Dangerfield believes in really getting to know each and every customer in order to create individual dream kitchens. One-to-one service is an absolute must for the team which offers a relaxed and friendly welcome at the beautiful Birmingham showroom.
Belinda is a naturally talented designer and has been creating stunning kitchens for seven years. She is particularly interested in the architectural aspect of each kitchen space, and loves to challenge customers' ideas.
Belinda comments: "A kitchen is a lifestyle choice which the customer has to live with for a long time. My aim is to get to know them, work out their likes and dislikes and the way their family uses the kitchen, so that I can create a superb room that will function well and stand the test of time."
A lovely extension with part pitched roof and skylights which helped flood this kitchen with loads of light.
This client lives in a 200 year old cottage and wanted to knock through a downstairs toilet, kitchen and lounge to create an open living space. White highgloss cabinetry and 50mm corian worktop were used, and a mixture of Neff appliances, Blanco sink & tap + Best extractor was used to create this dramatic looking kitchen. New French doors and rustic oak beams were incorporated to compliment the existing features. The main focal piece was to be a monochrome map of the world which would go along the back wall
My client had some very stong ideas as to what she wanted, as space was a premium we had to get alot into a small area as well as deliver on the brief from the client. Uncompromising areas of the brief were Space for recycling Double bowl sink Eye level dishwasher Usable storage Worktop - Verde Fun Clean unfussy lines In order to maximise the storage Belinda worked with the client and introduced her to the glass niche units behind the sink section, giving additional space for everyday items such as glasses and cups. Plinth drawers were introduced into the design to give storage for oven trays and rack and most importantly the 90cm recycling waste management system was designed under the double sink. The oven and microwave were separated as the client understood the clear demarcation of the cooking type she did with each and the dishwasher was brought upto an ergonomic eye level position. The end result was a practical and stylist kitchen for a client who likes to cook and entertain. The colours beautifully represent the personality of owners - classic but abit of a fun side.
